Ruth Gratzke
Ruth Gratzke has over 25 years of leadership experience in industrial technology, smart infrastructure and electrical products. She joined Acuity from Siemens, where she served as President of Siemens Smart Infrastructure in the United States and Chief Executive Officer of Siemens Industry, Inc., leading businesses across smart buildings, grid-edge technology, energy infrastructure and connected building environments. During her tenure, she helped scale a multi-billion-dollar business, significantly increasing revenue, order intake and profitability while advancing digital infrastructure, energy efficiency and sustainability.
Ruth combines operating discipline, technical depth and a customer-focused approach to growth. She has led complex technology portfolios, strengthened go-to-market execution and built high-performing teams grounded in empowerment, accountability and transparency.
Before Siemens, Ruth held senior leadership roles at Hubbell and General Electric, with responsibility for businesses spanning power systems, industrial solutions, product development and commercial execution. She earned a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in Germany and served on the Board of Directors of the Siemens Foundation.
